Old Fallen Pretending to be New Fallen
Spent the day pretending to color Sluggy. Heyy, I did more than the sunset! I did the base color for almost the entire second half of the comic, dangit! And I didn't help coloring it, I did color it! So mleh!
... uhm. M'lord.

I didn't do the comic. Again. I may or may not next week as well, considering that the SAT's are next week and school-related things have generally been going downhill on the "Aido's ability to do everything halfassed and still keep a 3.5 GPA" -scale. So next week I'll probably wind up coloring that second black and white page.
*nervous laugh*
... and Photoshop is still REALLY unhappy. I managed a way to get around the whole "can't make speech bubbles" thing, but it's a long, horrendously annoying process.
I really need sleep.
And I know I'm not going to get it.
I'm loathing today.

(stupidity: born and bred in upstate new jersey.)There's nothing important in this update, but I thought people would get a kick out of an unsigned note I found on the floor at my high school. This is the first time I've ever seen anyone write the way they talk. "Like" as a filler has no place in the written word. It's disgusting.
If I'm correct, this should read... (as true to the text as possible) :

This will probably long. (I think she meant for it to say BE long.) On Friday we got ready and everything and then we talked to Gray + Steve and they were like... "we can't go". They got all high b/c "they say" of what happened with Collette and her friend Christina (ill tell you about that later) So Gray and Steve dicked us over so we went to <place name deleted> to her friends house. I met the hottest guy... Eric and Colette liked Nick But they had to leave so we couldn't hook up wit them. =( (note the use of 'wit' in the place of 'with' ) They wanted to go out Sat but we have the sweet 16 so they were gonna pick us up and they were gonna buy us a room. haha lol. but then they couldn't get there =( At the partay (partay? Par-TAY? WHAT? ) Collette licked Bryces ear and Linds dared me to grab Bryces ass and matt dared Bryce. lol. (poor Bryce. >_o ) Then he did and i did lol. Then me and co went over to Alex U, Ryan, Mike, and Toms table and she like made this face to tom like i wanted him. So then we went to dance (me + co) Then Bryce left so we never danced. Then at the end val talked to tom but she didn't tell me until the slow song. So I got to dance with Tom. Ahh he is so hott. (as opposed to hot...?) And we danced close he is so beautiful. (I'm sure that's considered an insult in many countries.) Then at the next song i danced with Trevor and Tom danced with Katie C.! haha both of Bryces girls danced with Tom! =)It's nice to know the future of our nation is in good hands.

I just spent the past several hours arguing with my computers as to why or why not I can use the scanners or Photoshop or the outer glow tool... which is why the new pages have greyed speech bubbles instead of outlined ones. I gotta reinstall Photoshop now... I'm gonna lose all of my swatches... *sigh*
Well, yeah. I finally named the stupid thing... I'm not happy with the name at all, but it'll have to do. *tries to be as ambiguous as possible for the people who haven't read the comic and actually want to*
Uhm. Have doodles from the past week.
Markers are highly entertaining. I hate it when stuff like this turns out well and I feel like I should show it off... haven't gotten to this part of the story yet...... you didn't see this.
I've started doodling with a blue pencil after hanging out with Jen. And after attending a'many West Side Story rehearsals, I couldn't resist.
Void is Blooooo.

(hot diggity damn)Well, I spent all day with Pete Abrams coloring the Sunday strip and I still didn't finish the thing. He had to shade it after I left. :P Pete and Joe are so cool.

It's official... my scanner has blown up. In the least entertaining way possible. I'm using on my old scanner now, but it'll take much longer and I don't have the time to transfer files and such at the moment.
I'll have an update on the comic tomorrow night (or rather tonight)... but it won't be colored. My day is completely shot.

(super-big-image-update-yay!)Okay, so I haven't done anything constructive over the past 2-3 days days even though school work's been gnawing at me quite readily. I'm rather brain-dead from that SAT prep-course, but have some doodles and pictures and stuff.
I've been drawing Void a lot lately. I love drawing her... she's so chibi and has such a great range of emotions. She can and will walk quadrupedally in the comic because I like doing stuff like that. I'll probably add some more stuff like this when I redo the beginning of the comic.
Here's some more Void-studies. There's some demi-spoilers in the next few images, but stuff like this has been hanging around my elfwood gallery for the past year, so I'm guessing you people are somewhat used to it.I redid the chaos dragon facial structure a bit. I may not show it, but I greatly enjoy drawing evil things. I just don't do it much. Mmmm, tasty bunny.
Sobe's an old character of mine. I redesigned him and he'll have some kinda filler walk-on part in the comic when I need him.
History and English class are highly entertaining. (oh yeah, and Hou isn't mine.)
"Monkey" is a term coined by one of my good friends. It basically means "badass." ^^; Whee for halfassed cell shading!
... and then I made it into a t-shirt design. Mwee.And I colored a doodle of Sin. Version 2. Why must my doodles of her turn out better than the panels... X_x Arrrggg...

Alignment:
True Neutral characters are very rare. They believe that balance is the most important thing, and will not side with any other force. They will do whatever is necessary to preserve that balance, even if it means switching allegiances suddenly.
Race:
Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.
Primary Class:

N'g. I made all the thumbnails for all the galleries today-- I might actually get 'em up when get back... took all afternoon. Didn't get any schoolwork done. I'll have to try to do it all on the plane.
I managed to get the guest art section done and uploaded. I gotta make all the tables and stuff for the other galleries now... plus I gotta figure out how I'm gonna break the galleries down.... X_x
And.... erm... this is one of the many reasons some people should use contraceptives... >_>
